Freedom of Expression

As an American, I have a unique and precious view of freedom and what it means to be free.

I can't take freedom for granted.

All the things that I think are broken or ruined about our country, all those things pale in comparison to the freedom that I have to express myself concerning those broken bits.

I have the freedom to live life the way I want to, on my own terms. And I am doing it now, I am expressing myself openly, I am finding a way to live into the life that I want for myself.

What am I going to do to exercise my freedom? What am I going to do to share the freedom that I have with others?

I am going to create. I am going to share. I am going to create and share and repeat again and again, because that is what I choose to do with my freedom.

What will you choose to do with your freedom? How will you express yourself?

On the journey from the past to the future we cross through the present.

In the present only is the way of life.

If we try to focus our energy anywhere but the present, we become lost, transfixed on something that does not exist. There is no past or future, there is only now.

And what we decide to do now is what is important. Who we decide to become is what we decide to do. And to do is what we are called to do.

Action and action alone can seal our fate.

Action and action alone is what takes us from the past through the present into the future.

There is no other time than now.

There is no other place than here.
