Summary:

In which I ramble and decide on public posts.

Reflection:

Yesterday - a day. Not bad, relatively productive at work... did some things at home, straightened, wrote, read, had a good conversation... these things.

Entry:

I don't really know what I am going to write here... I don't really know or understand any of it, or know what it is all about or understand what these things mean... It is simple: I am not a bonafide or substantial writer... but I know what life is about, because I am living it. I know what the meaning means.

I had started this blog on blogger in order to ... in order to trace the arc of my life.. a storehouse for creative... etc. etc.

Then I moved to davebrey.com, then I moved to daboluv2.wordpress.com... these changes felt like growth but really, they turned out to be misdirection.... because the world, the internet, is giving me page views on nobushel.blogspot.com... does that mean I should move and cowtow to this space? Sure! why not?

Go where the audience is, don't have to hide in obscurity... but there is a lot on here, a lot of entries, a lot a lot of entries...

Okay... that is what I will have to do - write a blog entry on here, because this is where my audience is, then cross post it to daboluv2.wordpress.com. that is acceptable. I can do that. I certainly can.

I'll just have to leave a little time at the end of my writing session in order to send this cross post like.

So, what sort of insight and clarity might I reach today?

Constructive Living by David K. Reynolds.... what a great book! Definitely in my top 10... in fact, let me list out my favorite books, so I can remind myself:

1. A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle

2. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

3. Four Thousand Weeks by Oliver Burkeman

4. Constructive Living by David K. Reynolds

5. Essentialism by Greg McKeown

Those are the books I continue to come back to.... The first two, by Eckhart Tolle, just over and over again add layers of meaning and insight to my life. I listen to the audiobooks constantly, and have re-read them several times... in fact, I should re-read A New Earth again soon.

Moving forward... again.

Summary:

In which I stumble and fall.

Reflection:

Yesterday - a day. Not one I want to look back on. Just move forward.

Entry:

I'm not sure what to write here. I know that I can benefit from writing... but I don't know what to write. Maybe if I just write... and write and write... these things are all. All the things.

I might be tired, but I should still just write over the tiredness... I've made a true mess of my table here in the basement.. I should fix that... but I am lazy... no, I'm not just lazy, I don't care. So, what can I do to care? Get involved... do the things... do the things the things.

All of this... all of it, here and now, do the things.. the things... do them and do them well. Now what matters... what matters? What makes a difference?

And so, this is it... what matters. What matters. Don't know what else to write about. Probably will stop here then.

Insight:

Little to none

Summary:

In which I have a revelation.

Reflection:

Yesterday I actually did some things around the house. This morning I went for a walk with Gus... and now I am writing... these are the things...

Entry:

That's not why I'm doing it. No, that is why I'm doing it: to help people. To help people... I want my writing to help others, that is what I want from my writing... and my music, and all of my life... interesting. Very interesting. Indeed.... Indeed.

Insight:

I want to help people.
